Why Discourse Forum ?

in agate we are used to have teams as our main communication platform, in addition we also rarely use discord when teams isn’t working properly. Teams and Discord already serve as a good communication platform so far, but what we are trying to achieve isn’t really compatible with Teams Discord , and any chat messaging software. The Main Reason we decided to deploy our own forum is to Publicly Track Important Discussion Process, Enable Quick Reference to Existing Discussion, and Enable more Collaborative Communication in Agate.

Why Should We Use Discourse Forum ?

As we already have lots of communication and information Platform what is the benefit of using Agate Internal Discourse Forum ?

Which Channel Should I Post Onto ?

For now simply post in General Category but we request to add tags regarding your topic

Why There are no <Example-topic> category ?

we are currently initially adopting this forum with small number of user and moderator. as more topic shows up we will start moving topic to their respective category based on it’s frequency

Is There Any Ruleset Regarding What I Post Within the forum ?

you are free to post anything in the forum as long as it’s follow the internet common sense. But as we grow further i’m afraid there will be more rule regarding what’s post is considered acceptable.
