RASCI Responsible, Accountable, Supporting, Consulted, Informed

R-Responsible
The person who does the work.
The executor. The doer.
There can be more than one R.

A-Accountable
The person who is ultimately answerable for the result.
The decision-maker. The owner.
There should be only ONE A per task.
If something fails, this is the person accountable.

S — Supporting
People who assist the Responsible person.
They contribute effort or resources.

C — Consulted
People who must be asked for input before action.
Two-way communication.
They provide expertise or feedback.

I — Informed
People who must be kept updated.
One-way communication.
They don’t decide, but they should know.
