This procedure is about creating Google Account but with your Agate email (that have @agate.id domain).

Applicability/Scope

This Procedure is applicable when a crew need to have Google Account services tied with Agate email

Steps

1. Open your browser in incognito/private mode

2. Open https://accounts.google.com/

3. Choose "Create account"

4. Choose “For Myself”

5. Click “Use my current email address instead**”**

   • Image 5.1

     

6. Fill in your information into the boxes

   1. First Name: your first name
   2. Last Name: your last name
   3. Your email address: your Agate email (ends with @agate.id)
   4. Password & Confirm: password for Google Account. This can be different than your Agate email password.

7. Click "Next"

8. You will be asked to verify with a one-time code. This code have been sent to your Agate email address

9. Open your Agate email inbox, there should be an email from Google that contains the code. Open the email

10. Input the code into Google’s email address verification

11. Click "Verify"

12. Google may require you to input your phone number and may not let you skip this step. You can input your phone number

13. After inputting your phone number, Google will send you a verification code

14. Input the code into Google’s phone number verification

15. Click "Verify"

16. Your Agate’s Google account successfully made

17. Still in the same private browser without closing anything, go to accounts.google.com

19. Scroll down until you find “Recovery Email”

20. Click “Recovery Email”. Sign in if prompted.

21. Set the recovery email as googlerecovery@agate.id
